Changing around the house......

So after seeing this particular image many times, and this time actually catching it on camera with me in the room for him to see and NOT care....it was time....

This was such a sad sad time for me! My baby is growing up! It is fun but also sad. He will no longer have a crib but a toddler bed. =( I also didn't like the fact that he will no be able to get up whenever he wants, etc. I wasn't sure if i wanted to keep his door open, or close it so where he has to stay in his room and not roam the house or sneak to our bedroom. After some door knob switching and lots of thoughts, we decided to try with the door closed.

His first night he did AMAZING! He didn't get up at all! Even when he decided to wake up at 3am! He stayed in his crib crying waiting for me. This morning he did try to open the door, but couldn't open it so he went back to his bed and cried. what a sweetheart!!!

He even loves when I snuggle with him! I love it!

Bridger is 23 months!!!

He is only 1 month away from being 2! So crazy but so amazing. As we enter these "terrible twos" I am super nervous as to what is in store for us. He has always kept us on our toes, but I am no blinded and I know it only gets more challenging as they grow older, especially 2 and 3! =) He has so much energy and i dont know where the heck he gets that from. It must from his daddy! He is currently saying "no" to everything, back talking and even hitting us! he is such a handful. We are working overtime trying to get him undercontrol and let him know who is boss! We are trying!! He does say he loves us on a regular basis and also tell us Yes Mam and Yes Sir. It adorable!! I love that he is beginning to communicate more and understand what we are saying. He is loads of fun and I'm sure we have much much more in store for us.......

We also rearranged Bridgers room!! Its not a "huge" difference but a difference that I could tell and I actually like the different look. I love to rearrange but not all rooms you can do that with!

Quick trip down the beach

It was still a little cold to go to the beach, but Ryan and I drove down and checked it out. We got out for a little awhile and i was so chilly I had to put my jeans back on! We stayed only an hour, but it was a nice time for us to have together to just sit and relax and spend time alone!

Bridger's time in the pool

We took bridger for a swim at my moms boyfriends. It was a bit chilly out but he loved it. I will need to take him another time when it is hotter! I'm sure he will love it!!

Another Weekend

Our friends that we always go fishing with invited us to their dry dock boat party! From what I understand, they did this last year and it brought them good luck!?! haha. Anyhow, we got to go this year and hang out on the boat and have some drinks with our friends. It was nice and we had a good time!

It was also one of our friends birthdays, so we headed out to help celebrate it! Happy Birthday Karie!!!

Weekend Fun

Last weekend we didn't have any plans. It was nice to just go with the flow. First I had to go and take pictures of Katelynn and Travis. Since he goes to a different school, it was their prom! Bridger and I shopped some during the day and then headed to over to my MILS to take some picturs of her. Of course she looked amazing and they were super cute. My how I barely remember things about my own prom.

After that Ryan called me to let me know we were having people over!! My fav! Our some of our good friends and their kiddos came over. We cooked out and had good girl talk and let the kids play, although mine is still the craziest. We had many good laughs and definitely need to start doing this more often like we used it! I miss it!

This is Kyler ( 14 months & Kendal 8 months)

They are 6 months apart and darling! Kendal is seriously the best baby ever! She never cries!

Sunday Ryan had to work some so after we got out we decided to head to the rodeo. Our friend invited us to sit with them as they got box seats right in the front! We were really late, but were able to see some. We were literally right in the front row. Bridger was scared and was even shaking some. It was so cute! He did good and didn't hardly move the entire time!

After that we headed over to his moms to hang out and have some drinks and cook!! It was an absolute amazing day! It was so calm out and perfect! The boys had fun playing together and jumping on the trampoline. Bridger bit Hayden twice while playing! I swear this kid - I don't know what to do to get him to stop. Poor Hayden! But he still liked playing with bridger and they did well together! He was one worn out little boy by the time we left!
