Happy Birthday Beckett!

I cannot believe that my baby is now 1 year old! how the heck did that happen? I swear this was the quickest year ever. He is my last so it is so bittersweet! He is seriously so good, maybe that's why this year just felt like it went so fast. I already miss him as a little baby. I can think back and definitely remember a big difference from when he was that little baby to where he seriously completely changed. He was always a good baby, but got so much better once he started sitting up!

Beckett is 22.10 lbs and 31 inches. He wears 12month and 12-18month clothing. size 4 diaper. He has been walking since right before his 10month mark. He says dada, mama, here, bye, and uh oh. He self entertains so well! sometimes you forget he is even in the room! he will hand me anything that is on the floor that is trash and he says "here" he is such a happy happy baby, he giggles out of no where, he gets a kick out of himself all the time. I just smile at him and he will smile right back, he goes and gets his snack cup when he wants a snack. Or I will tell him to go get it and he will! he loves to eat his snacks, and anything I'm eating. He comes up to me and basically begs hahaha! He still takes 2 naps a day, about 2 hours each. He sleeps thru the night. He absolutely adores his brother! he always gets so excited every time we pick him up from school.

My 33rd birthday

We were driving to New Mexico on my birthday. We didn't do any celebrating but Ryan bought me some Starbucks for breakfast and 2 cards and some flower. So sweet!

Once we got back from vacation and got back in the grove of things, the next weekend, Ryan told me Friday night, that we were going to dinner the next night. And that we already had my mom lined up for babysitting. I was shocked and excited to enjoy some dinner with my hubby.

Well the next night rolled around and he said we were leaving at 6, I couldn't find anything to wear so we left a little later. I didn't even know where we were going. We drive to Takewina! One of my favorite places! We walked in, and he said we already have a table, I was like we do? And he led me to the habachi room, and I turned the corner and it was my friends! I was shocked and excited! My sweet friends organized the whole thing and we were late! Hahaha! It was a great dinner and I always love being with my girls since it's much fewer and far between now that we don't work together daily! They brought me flowers, and cupcakes, and Starbucks card! These girls are so awesome!

New Mexico

We took a family trip to Ruidoso New Mexico with my mom and Jamie the weekend of my 33rd birthday. I was extremely nervous about the ride there and back as Beckett doesn't like to stay in his car seat too long. We left after Bridger got out of school and got to our hotel around midnight or 1. I was feeling soooo sick! I thought I was car sick. I got no sleep at all, and as morning drew closer, I started getting really sick throwing up etc. it was awful! I had gotten the stomach bug that the boys had earlier in the week. I had to tough it out 2 more hours till we got to our final destination. It was just an awful day. That night we are at our friends/Ryan's cousins hamburger restaurant and it was so good!!

The boys went skiing the next day and mom and i stayed back and went grocery shopping for food for the super bowl. Ryan ended up getting the bug when they got back from skiing, it was awful!

The last day we were there my mom and Jamie got sick and were down for the count. Ryan and I took the kids to the Inn of the Mountian Gods, ate and went and did some local shopping. It was a nice way to see their little town. Felt awful my mom and Jamie were so sick the last day.

The kids did amazing the entire way there and back!! I was so happy and so impressed! We had a great little mountain get away.
