Texas State Aquarium
Mom wanted to take us all to the Aquarium as something fun for the boys to do. Sheaden is at the perfect age and we knew it would be perfect for him. I was more Leary of Bridger as Ryan and I have taken him before and he didnt do so hot. Surprisingly, he did great! But he loves being around his older cousin. Everything that Sheaden wanted to look at, Bridger wanted to too!

Sista's here!
My sister and youngest nephew flew in last Tuesday and are staying a week. She planned this trip down here to help my mom after her surgery. It is always nice to them and it is never enough. They live in Utah and I really don't see her that often. I think the last time we were together was when Bridger was around 5months old. Time goes by so fast and you forgot how long its been since you have seen someone.
Since she is here to help my mom, she is staying with her and I still had to work most days. Bridger still naps, so our hang out sesh is here and there. Bridger adores Sheaden. He looks up to him and really wants to play with him. Sheaden doesn't want any part of it. It is so funny because Bridger really just wants to hang with him and for Sheaden to play with him. He chases him around the house and says "Come with me" Or "tickle tickle" Its so sweet. He loves playing with older kids, but Sheaden wasn't to happy about all of this. Bridger is still little and so confused. He doesn't understand why his cousin won't play with him. Sheaden did have sweet moments and played with Bridger and even let him play with some of this toys.

Lately........
Breathe. I am so busy! What in the wide world happened?! I don't know where all this busyness came from. Just seems as though a lot of things are going on right now. To top it off, Bridger is in the height of being two, and terrible. haha.
I have been so behind on work from everyone being out over the holidays and me covering their desk and I am still behind on everything of my own, trying to catch up. Then we got a new phone system, training, new system in general, training, then training another girl to do what I do - as that is some of the new changes. I have been busy at home cleaning and trying to get things in order and ready for my sisters arrival. Which was today! She will be here a week! I took off a couple of days while she is here to spend time with her and my 5 year old nephew. equals more things to be behind on. Also planning another friends and I's birthday bash in Lake Charles in which we are going next weekend and Bridger will be staying with Memaw. More time off work. Then the last week of the month I will be out another 2 days for ACSR class for work. More time off = more work. I am also waking up at 4am every morning doing Insanity so that makes for a very early bedtime, on top of the other daily routines. Whew! Tired of reading yet? I am thankful for everything going on, but I am also ready for a slow down. =) I have barely even checked my email or blogged about my sweet little guy. I am enjoying every moment, So I know this will get better! Just busy times! Good things. I will soak up all the stuff now and try not to complain or sound not thankful.
Besides all the other crazy busy stuff going on, things are going....Bridger is having lots of terrible two days, but cracks me up nonstop. He is so sweet. I can't believe my sweet boy will be 3 almost 4 months! He still has no interest in potty training. I Guess I am good with that for now. I don't want to rush him. He loves to sing, dance, color and organize. He is kind of OCD like his mama! Its so funny!
I am still trying to keep up on my blog reading, but only one a week or so. We are still attending Bay Area Fellowship church and loving it. Bridger loves his new class and he gets to do arts and crafts! This past weekend it was about the direction of God. What is our purpose that God already prewired us with, figuring it out and how. I guess I have a lot of figuring to do. Ryan left, knowing what his purpose was. What his desires are and always have been. I couldn't think of mine. How weird. It was a great service, but definitely left me thinking. I know what I do now isn't what my purpose is, but I am also almost 30! When the heck will I figure it out. Obviously I am not listening to the word of God enough. Lots to think about and figure out! Love services like that though.
Here is my stinker over the past 2 weeks. Also, my space bar isn't working on side of the keyboard.....hmmm... it is seriously annoying. I hope this isn't a sign for a new laptop. Every 2 years...really? But it is really annoying.

A weekend with friends
Friday night Ryan invited some friends over to watch the game. I got off work and just relaxed till everyone arrived. I have been so tired it felt great to just sit and relax. It wasn't anything big and Ryan cooked up a bunch of fish. Guy watched football and had guy talk and us girls just hung out and did our thing while watching the kiddos.
We were going to play games, but dang watching kids is really tiring and a full time event. We had 3 toddlers and a baby. Those toddlers are way harder than any baby! ha. We had to stay on them and make sure they were playing nice. The boys are rough and fight back and forth the entire time. We let them do their thing. Kendal however is so sweet and calm. Poor girl has all these boys around her. She is a great sport and one day is going to kick their butts!
We had a great night at home with the kiddos and hubs. So great that we decided that we needed a night out, kid free. I told them I would work on a sitter. It worked out!So crazy.

Saturday I took my mom out shopping a little bit and we were gone for 3 hours. We took our time and just looked at everything.I was happy to help with her getting out of the house. I ran home to pick up and get ready. Katelynns little friend came over and watch Bridger and boy was he happy! He really loves Katelynn and her friends. He didn't even cry when we left. I knew he would do good.
We met some friends at Takeniwa for dinner. It was of course delish! After we went to a couple of bars. It was seriously a great time. We had a blast. Us girls hung together and at the last bar we planted ourselves at the bar and took shots and talked and took tons of pics! We had so much fun. We didn't even care where the boys were. haha, it was a good time. We stayed up entirely too late. Came back here and played drinking games. Shared some stories that were intense and deep. Shed a few tears in our drunken stooper. We really enjoyed it.
Sunday I spent the day with my little love taking down Christmas decorations. I think we may have only left the house to get food once. I had a great weekend, which was even better since I wasn't expecting that b/c Ive been so tired!
New Position
I got offered a new position at work. Actually they are making all kinds of changes and me changing positions is basically one of them. I will still be doing some of what I do now. I am going to be an Account Manager Assistant.
We have a lot of changes going on work and I am not sure when the final change will take place, but it will take some time. I am already so overwhelmed at work and super busy I am kind of stressed. Although I do know that it will be ok. I'm trying not too put stress on me. I think this could be a good change, but I will miss being in my quiet little corner. Knowing what I'm doing daily and just knowing what I'm doing. This new position is alot more added responsibilities and things I will have to learn. I'm not nervous about learning them, just about the time. I am just fine that right now things are moving slowly.
Here's to the next couple of months......Hope it is an easy transition. I know I will be happy when I don't have to be every one's "back ups" in the office. That alone will be some release. Yay!

Not Me...
With Bridger growing ever so rapidly, his vocabulary has of course grown twice as fast. I don't want to forget what he is saying right now at this age.
Bridger got a piggy bank for Christmas. He used to ask us for money when we would pass by those machines where you can try to grab the stuffed animals, but now he asks all the time. The way he says it is what makes it SO adorable! I can't even write it as he says it. It is TOO cute though. We give him change and he puts it in his "piggy" as he calls him. It works as a little, "if you behave, you can get a penny" or "if you are naughty I will take some money back". So far it is working as best as it can with a 2 year old.
*He says "I funny, funny!" He thinks he is super hilarious
*He is always saying "NOT MEEE...." when we are talking about him. about anything. especially if we smell something.... "NOT MEEE Mama!" haha
*I gonna get a book, Okkkaaayyy Mom" as he is patting me. (talking to me like a baby!) Listening to me too much! ha
*I'm gonna go get my toys (or whatever), I'll be back in a minute - Such a big boy!
* That's gross! (as I'm kissing his giraffe)
*He puts his finger to his mouth and says "shhhhhhh" Guess he doesn't want to listen to me
*He now says "Come" when he is asking how come or saying because. I don't know how he got it mixed up with because, but it is so cute!
*Bridger says everything with a time or number is 5. He went to bed at 5. He slept 5. One night it was 530. LOL! He will be back in 5 mins, he will go pick up his toy in 5 mins.
*When he now burps or toots he says Excuse me!! This is a big one for us! yay!
*His favorite songs right now are Tornado by Little Big Town which he makes us listen to very loudly and will sing a line in the song over and over afterwards. And, 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed song. He sings that one alot. He shakes his finger when he says 'The doctor says no more monkeys jumping on the bed!"
*When I carry him or hold him he loves to twirl my hair with his finger. It gets it pretty tight and it hurts, but its so cute!
*He asks for Memaw and Haley numerous times. Haley is Memaw's dog.
*"I gonna cut dat tee" He has a tree outside his window that bangs on his screen when its windy. He is scared of it and tells me at 3am he is going to cut it. I'm still waiting. =)
*He actually talks on the phone! You can't always understand on the other end, but I understand when i'm holding the phone for him. ha.
*We took down the Christmas decorations and I was having a hard time getting the containers apart and I said, "Bridger what are we going to do? We need help!" He then puts his hand to his mouth like a microphone and says "OHHH Toodles!" buahahaha! I laughed at this one for awhile. He is so smart to know that Oh toodles help, but only help Mickey. Cutie.
*I said we needed daddy's help, he preceeds to "call" daddy on the phone with his hand telling hime "me and mama need help,...then he paused.....and said "Uh huh"........ok daddy. LOL! really Bridger? Imaginary conversation
*He calls Grandpa Ron, Pa Pa ruuuu-nnnn
