We had a nice relaxing Easter. Since we were in the boat all day Saturday we got home with a tired boy but made the time to dye eggs! He has been too little before and never had interest so this was something I definitely wanted to do with him this year. He did so good!! He kept taking all the eggs out and putting them in different colors, so they all kind of turned out pink in the end, but he loved it. That's all that matters.
We woke up Sunday and brought him down to his Easter basket! The Easter bunny left his some fun surprises. He was so happy and excited. He dug into his toys immediately and pulled out all of the eggs and started opening them all checking out that candy that was within. We waited until my mom got there and took him outside to hunt Easter eggs. He didn't know what we were doing but he saw eggs and ran for them. He was so excited he was missing a lot of them because he wasn't really looking. It was so cute! He found them all and wanted to open them to see what was in them. I only did Easter marshmallows and m&ms. Of course he wanted those m&ms. We made him wait to open them all so we could get some quick family pictures. My little boy is growing up so fast!
After that we headed off to church kind of early as we know that Easter Sunday is always so packed. And it was. Ryans mom and sister and some others met us there. It was a great service as always. Our Pastor did such a great job talking about the Resurrection of Christ. Service was so packed! It was awesome.
We shopped at a store with my mom for a bit and then we headed out to Port A later that day. Just a relaxed day with my little family. It was perfect.
