We headed out around noon and it was a bit chilly during the ride, but the clouds were starting to clear! By the time we got to our little destination, the skies were clear! It was perfect! We found this perfect spot where it is all sand and it is shallow really far out. In fact, we have to get out of the boat and walk up to the sandy part. It is perfect for the little boys because they can just run and run and play and it is shallow so far out we aren't worried about them falling in the deep water.
They boys had a blast. They didn't stop moving! They ran and played and were in and out of that water non stop. The water is entirely too cold for me still. We spent the entire day out there and we all got pretty burnt!
We did good with the boys and they get didnt get toasted! Thank goodness. They are both so pale and so easy to roast in that sun.
We had a great day and so much fun!! It was perfect and these are the things that we just love doing as a family and with other friends.
