Christmas Party

My mother -n-law had a Christmas party and we were able to attend this year since we live here now! YAY! Katelynn was kind enough to watch Bridger for us so we could help her prepare some and stay and enjoy ourselves.
We invited some of our friends over and had a great night.

We love boats

Bridger and Landon had some fun playing in the boat. I think this boy will have lots of fun with boats. He sat up and "played" driving it. They were so cute. I am thinking this coming summer he will be old enough to start taking him out in the boat more and to the ski canals!! I hope I'm right and hope he enjoys these things just as much as his daddy!

Office Christmas Party

My office had their Christmas party this past week and they kept it low key. We had it in the community room in our building. We played some games and had drinks and food! It was nice to just sit back and chit chat for a couple of hours.

The item that was a complete hit at the party was this awesome photo booth! What a great idea!
We had fun with it, I would have even taken more but there was a really long line. Loved it!!

We went to see Santa!!!

Bridger did not like Santa this year! He was so scared he was shaking! He didn't want to be anywhere near Santa! It always takes him awhile to warm up to people anyway and of course we didn't have that!

We decided to make it a family picture. However we got lucky! We got one of him crying and then they decided to try one more time....and this time one of the girls jumped up with a stuffed animal to make Bridger laugh and it worked! So they got the picture....makes it look like Bridger was happy to see Santa, but really, he wasnt, ha!

Right when we were getting to leave Bridger than decided that it was ok to give Santa "high five". Silly little boy!! Maybe next year will go better!

Bridger

Bridger has been so funny lately! He is talking up a storm and never stops! I sure wish I understood more of it!
His newest thing is he is constantly saying "Tickle Tickle". I guess we tickle him so much when we are changing him, dressing him, etc. And we do it so lightly and say tickle tickle. because now....that is all that comes out of his mouth! And he says it so fast too!
I need to post a video of it. It is darling! He even knows what it means...and tries to tickle us in random place or tickle random things....santas face? ha!
Overall , I think he just loves the word, Tickle Tickle.
He also loves to say nonstop Football or touchdown if Ryan is watching football....which is often.
Its so cute to see him pay attention to those things.

Ive had to move all my ornaments up my tree however because this little boy is so stubborn and refuses to leave them alone!!
It went alot better than I expected and for a lot a longer! He runs up to the Christmas tree and says "tree", like just because he says it so cute we won't be bothered by him touching the ornaments. Sorry little boy, no touch!

This picture of him cracks me up!

Fishing...or bar?

Friday night after a long week, Ryan called to see if I wanted to go over to his moms to fish under the light. At first I was hesitant because I didn't really feel good and I already had Bridger down and I wasn't going to wake him up.
Ryan called back and said Karie and Pat were going too and his sister was going to come sit at the house with Bridger.
Ok, what the heck. Lets go catch some dinner.
Pat and Karie brought over Landon and he went right back to sleep and it was an easy night for Katelynn! Of course, it usually always is! =)

We headed to fish, it was cold and windy...to me. Karie and I jsut sat on the porch talking about all sorts of things as the boys tried to catch some fish! No luck!
After awhile they decided they wanted to stop by the bar for quick hello to some friends.....we should've known it is never a quick hello........

Hello Policitics and than Reserve and then after hours....I was one tired momma!
We had fun though and it was great to get out after all that studying and failing of my test! ha! I didn't get a lot of pictures like I used to...but I did get some!

After hours....shots? Never a good idea!

We are so lucky to have such great family that lets us go out and have some fun every now and then! We really enjoy it occassionaly and it is also good for our marriage! Even if some of those nights we spend at bars with our friends! =)

Doggies Best Friends!

The weather here in Texas has been cold and rainy! Nothing worse then those 2 mixed together! Our dogs quickly became outdoor dogs again here recently.
I felt bad however when the lows were going to be in the 30's and had Ryan let them in while I was in San Antonio.
Once I got home....guess what....still rain. We don't have cover for them right now outside and I can't just let them be outside in the cold rain with  no cover!! =(
they have became inside dogs again.
I picked Bridger up from daycare friday and when we got home he was so tickled that his pups were inside the house and not locked up either! It was play time!
He makes the cutest sounds to them and loves to love on them and pat them.
Cheyenne gets a little crazy and wants Bridger paying her all the attention and wants to play with him, Remington is more laid back and just wants my attention.
I think Bridger loved the time playing the pups, and I even got a cute video of it! They really are going to be his best friends!!

Waiting so patiently to play with Bridger

No she isn't biting him! She is soooo gently and is saying come play with him! he laughs everytime!

She is so "in your face!"

New Job

So surprise! Ryan started a new job last week while I was away in San Antonio!
We gave his 1 week notice to Advanced Pipeline and started working with Energy Transfer.
I hope that he likes it and it is a good fit for him. It isn't that he didn't like Advanced Pipeline, because he did, this job opportunity came about and it sounded like a better fit for him.

He will actually get medical benefits, and paid time off! He has never had that before. He works lots of overtime and is eligible for advancement as quickly as he would like...all these other jobs just seemed like that was it....he wasn't going any further up the ladder, not saying a Superintendent isn't a good job...he just wants even better and climb even further up that ladder!

This is a very large company, the largest pipeline company in Texas....one of the largest in the nation. It is a very good reputable company and I hope its what he loves!!

Good luck to my honey in his new job!!!!

Christmas Program

Right after returning home from San Antonio, Bridger has his daycare Christmas program that next morning. I studied in between the times and raced over to see his program. There were lots of people taking tons of pictures and it was hard to get in and see him. The whole program only last 10 mins maybe, but it was so cute listening to the kids sing Christmas Songs.

As for Bridger, I think he was seriously wondering what in the world was going on! He looked like a deer in headlights the entire time! I am sure he was overstimulated by all the people crowding and taking pictures of their children.

Here is what I got: Can you see him!?!?

I can't believe he wore the santa hat the entire time!! Amazing what they can get these kids to do! =)

After his program I headed over to take my test for my class............one of the hardest test I have ever had to take.
failed.......twice. By 2 questions.
Im taking a break now....I think I have too much going on and I can not seem to focus and teach myself to remember this stuff! It is all a memory game...in my opinion. I can't retain the info or focus long enough learn it. Doesnt help I was out of work for 4 days and have SO Much work waiting for me...that stresses me out in itself.
We will see what is next. But this insurance test is not fun!

Mommy is outta here!

A couple sundays ago I spent getting ready to leave to San Antonio for a few days to attend a class for pre-licensing, a job requirement at my workplace.
I wasn't prepared to leave my family for so long since I have never done it before....but it had to be done. Bridg wasn't feeling well and neither were daddy! Daddy was all in control and I wished him the best! =)

I got to San Antonio at a reasonable hour and decided to take full advantage of that time and go shop! I love how many more options there are up there and much bigger selection! I of course stopped off at my most favorite store for Bridger, Janie and Jack and got him some cute tops. I wanted a lot more, but kept it a minimal as much as possible! =) I enjoyed wondering around the mall, and actually trying stuff on myself! Which I never get to do! It was fun.

Class was Monday thru Wednesday 8-6pm, my hotel was right across the street so I just had to walk! It was great and convenient! I met a friend of a co-workers there and we talked and went to lunch together and it was so nice!

I enjoyed my little time away but missed my family like crazy! It was different and nice to just get home to the hotel, get in my jammies, crawl into the king size bed all to myself and study. No chores, no dishes, no cleaning, no cooking....no nothing. It was a nice well needed break for me.

I was eager to get home to my boys wednesday after class and Ryan ended up having to stay overnight where they were working! bummer!
I got up the next morning and went to my moms to wake Bridger up!! He reached for me immediately and then started being a little stinker pot again!!

I eventually figured out it was one of his medicines causes him to be so "crazy" and out of control. Thankfully it was only for wheezing so we have since been able to stop and not use anymore! Thankgoodness! He really tested us!

Good to be home to my family!
