A little bit of Bridger

My little boy is growing up so fast!! He actually carries on great conversations now! its adorable because he says such cute stuff, but its also sad because he is getting so big. He is no longer a baby. He still keeps us on our toes..... and makes us laugh every single day. He still visits time out very often. And is refusing to take naps. He literally listens to everything. Remembers it, then repeats it. then doesnt forget it. Super smart boy. We decided to pass on tball this fall because temper wise we didn't think he was ready for that. Now he is always asking us if he can play baseball (his friend in daycare plays). Maybe it is time for us to start looking into something for him. I can't believe these days are here. The days of practice and games on the weekend.....This is all going to fast! haha. I still tell him he is my baby, and I always will.

I was crafting one night and looked over to find this....lol

He loved this game!

He still loves his bubble baths..

Morning Boat Ride

The morning before the party it was GORGEOUS out! Ryan had been at the cabin Friday and Saturday so we were thinking of something fun to do as a family since he was home. We were going to take a drive out to the beach, but it was so pretty we detoured and headed to his moms. We got her and we all headed out for a little boat ride. We didn't have long since we had to get ready for the party - but it was SO nice out. We had a nice little boat ride....i seriously just love the fall.

Pumpkin Patch 2013

Time got away from us this year.....and maybe I was waiting for cooler weather before heading to the pumpkin patch....but last weekend it was pretty nice out and we headed out to the pumpkin patch. My mom came along and took some pictures for us. Bridger is always non stop so it is extremely hard to get pictures of him anymore. We still try! He loved the pumpkin patch and would not stop running around and picking up all the pumpkins! I had a cute Halloween shirt for him, but he didn't want to wear it. stinker! He said it was "Ug-y" We compromised. We got Bridger a little pumpkin and he loved it!

That one is too big baby

Love my family!

Little Stinker here!

Rockport SeaFair

A couple weekends ago we headed to the Rockport Seafair. We haven’t ever been before, but I just love fairs. We don’t do nearly as often as I would like to, and I know as a child, that it is such fun memories for them. I told Ryan we need to try harder in that aspect. I asked a couple of my girlfriends at work if they had been, and one of them had and said it was fun. We made plans to meet them out there.

Ryan worked on boats all weekend and I cleaned. This little trip to the Seafair was perfect! We got there around dark and headed straight to the carnival so Bridger could get in some rides. He was like a little fire ball! He couldn’t sit still either! He was so hyper. Our other friends met us there, they have a 3 year old as well. They rode the ride together and they both loved it. The guys then took them into the fun house and Bridger ran straight into the mirror! Awww poor baby! Lol. Afterwards the “big kids” rode a ride. Bridger was going crazy waiting. We took them to play some games after that. Bridger tried to “fish” but wasn’t very good. Ha. They still gave him a prize. He chose, a sword, of course. We played some other games and he won some little stuffed animals. I felt so bad because some friends of ours were with us and they didn’t even have kids, and they waited and waited with us. It was so sweet, but I felt bad. We walked back across to get a drink and something to eat. By then the spazmatics were playing, talk about a good time!! Such fun to dance to some 80’s music! B was super crazy for awhile, then calmed down some. We stayed till it closed at 11. My girlfriend Kristie got her palm read. I don’t know about all that. Its crazy. Ryan has had his signature read before and it was accurate……but a palm reading? Lol guess we will see if she was right by next year for ms Kristie!

We had a fun time with our friends, but I wish we would’ve gone out there earlier so Bridger could’ve rode more rides. But we will hit up the next fair when it comes! Bridger had a blast!!!

Ninja Turtles

Bridger has a new obsession. Ninja Turtles. He watches it non stop! Ryan even bought him a 2 disc dvd set. This has been going on for a little while now.

While at Walmart the other day, he picked out a huge Styrofoam sword. I didn’t think anything of it and bought it for him. Regret! He likes to actually use it on me. He knows its so light and doesn’t really hurt, but even when we say no, he can’t help it. He uses it non stop. At the fair the other night he won another sword. This one is plastic. Hurts more. He uses them both at the same time. One in each hand. He also stores this really long sword on his back, between him and his shirt. I always find this so funny. We caught him full on fighting the air with swords in both hands the other night….hilarious!

I went to Walmart again yesterday and saw these ninja turtle pajamas. I am so NOT a character person. I don’t like the shirts, sheets, etc. I’m just more of a preppy nautical type of girl.  but I just knew that he would love them….so I bought them. When I picked him up from daycare, I told him I bought him a surprise and had it at home. He saw the ninja turtle jammies when he walked in the door and was SO excited. She showed me the one he liked. Leonardo. I looked again and it hit me! All this craziness that he does with the swords, etc……its Leonardo! The ninja turtle! He carries the sword! And on his back. How did I not even realize this before?! I laughed pretty hard at Bridger. He is so funny.

So we have a full blown ninja turtle at our house. He seriously loves it. He was so proud of his jammies and could not wait to put them on! He even cheesed it SO big for a picture. Awww I love my little man. Hopefully tonight he wont try to wear the same jammies again! ha

Weekend Getaway

Last weekend my sweet baby boy had his first ever weekend away without us. We had already planned a trip to San Marcos with some friends, and my mom
Was going to watch Bridger, but Ryan's brother kept calling and really wanted Bridger to come up and visit them in Houston.

I had alot of anxiety over it, but I am sure it is just because it is the first time he was actually going away, out of town, without us. We got him ready to go and my mother n law picked him up Friday afternoon and off they went! Before she picked him up he let him bring Cheyenne in and play with her. They both had a blast. Cheye loves that attention.

Ryan and I ran some errand so got some sushi to go. I was packing for the weekend and started feeling terrible. My head was pounding and my face was on fire. I looked in the mirror and holy heck! My face was so read! I had bright spot all over my chest as arms! The heat coming From my face was so bad. I couldn't figure out what was going on. I finally figured it might be a food allergy!?! I always order the same thing, but this time it did seem that there was something different on it. I'm not sure what. Now, I am so weary of ordering that again! I took a Benadryl and went to bed! The next morning I felt great!

We bit the road and got to San Marcos around 12ish. We shopped around, seeing the boys here and there.

They had lunch at the outback and just basically waited on us. Our friends headed back to the hotel and Ryan and I kept shopping. We make a great shopping team! I was so looking forward to this trip, Ryan even gave me a by. H of money, I was So excited! But I failed miserably! Ryan ended up with some stuff, lots for B and I got 1 pair of jeans and 2 belts.

We headed back to hotel to get ready for dinner. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt and it was really nice! A cool front blew in right before we left to dinner! I was a little chilly, but it was actually nice! We weren't super Hott walking the river walk. We went to eat at Saltgrass and it was pretty good! Afterwards we went to Howl at the Moon- but it was so packed it just wasnt a good time. Ryan got a little sick before we left to dinner and after he still felt like crap. So we left and decided we could go drink at the hotel lobby. We did that for one round of drinks then headed to bed! Lol. In bed by midnight isn't such a bad idea!

The next morning we were up early and walked over to Denny's for breakfast. We had a nice breakfast! We then decided to head to Austin to drop off Allen's breathing machine since he just got moved up there. Austin was only an hour from downtown San Antonio! Not bad at all. We let our friends know and hit the road. We got up there, found where he was and visited for awhile. It was very sad. To just be there in that hospital with all these people that all need help doing things. It was so sad to see Allen just laying unable to do anything for himself. It is horrible. It broke my heart when he said he finally got to go outside the other day.....the 1st time in 3 months. He loves the outdoors. He did however seem very optimistic and positive and is just ready to start rehab. He is still maybe 6 weeks out of starting, but he is so anxious and ready. That is a really good sign. We just keep praying for him and a complete recovery.

After visiting for awhile we left and decided to hit up the outlets again! This time I got another pair of jeans and 1 belt. Lol what the heck?! Ryan we t ahead and got alot more stuff. He went crazy and bought tons! He never shops for himself though, so we had fun finding him stuff!

We got home around 7pm and were so excited to see Bridg. He had the best time and was so excited to tell us all about it! I missed him so much, but Ryan and I had a blast! We haven't been able to do that in forever! Not a vacay out of the country- just a weekend away. It really is important and so worth it! We had the best time ever, no schedule, no time frame, no fighting with a toddler. We missed him SO much , but man we had a great time!
