We have already had numerous warm days, some were surprisingly warm! I was tired of the cold, but I just LOVE LOVE Spring weather. I love sitting outside and enjoying the light breeze, no hotness no humid, just a simple fresh air breezy night. We have been lucky and have gotten some amazing spring weather this year and we didn't just jump into summer.... however we have had some pretty warm days so daddy went and got Bridger a blow up pool! We got it and set it up outside and he did pretty good..although he was more interested in the water nozzle. I'm sure by summer time with all that heat we will be experiencing he will be more than ready to swim in that pool!!

Dad came to visit!
The last week of March, my dad and stop mom came down for a visit. They arrived on Monday evening and left Friday morning. It was a short trip, (for us) but it was fun! They also drove from Colorado so it definitely wasn't short to them. While they were here, 2 of the days I only worked till 2 and one day we all took off and headed to San Antonio. The days that I was off they also Kept Bridger for me. How sweet! And Bridger just loved it! I know they played with him and took him outside and for a walk one day too. I'm sure this was a great change for Bridger, and he got to spend some time with his grandparents that he never gets to see!!
Unforuntaly my little sister didn't come this year, but they did bring their puppy, Coorah. Bridger just loved her so much! What a sweet dog she was!!
One night we went and ate at Virginia's on the Bay. One of Ryans favorite restaurants! This is also where he had a dinner planned after he proposed all those years ago! We do have a love for Virginia's. I think they enjoyed the food and the scenary was another plus!
One of the days we decided to head up to San Antonio. We took Bridger to the sitter that day because we knew there was no way he would be able to hang that day. He is a very active little boy and going to the Riverwalk and to see the Alamo wasn't something we thought he would like or behave well doing.
It was absolutely beautiful weather!! The entire day was gorgeous! We stopped by the Alamo first and then got some lunch and walked along the riverwalk. We just relaxed and enjoyed ourselves and laughed a ton! My abs were sore after a trip with Ryan my dad and step mom! They are hoots!
I had a great time visiting with them and was sad to see them leave. We are going to have to plan a trip up their way sometime soon! Its been too long since we have been to Colorado and plus - it is great for Bridger to get to hang with his grandparents and develop a relationship with them! He adores them!!
Until next time, hopefully not another 2 years........

Canal Swim
Bridger loves his boat rides and being outside. We have been taking him out in the boat almost every single weekend. He just loves this so much! He sits with the biggest smile and on his face and just soaks it up. It is adorable. Melts my heart knowing he is having a blast!! He is just a mini Ryan. Lately he has been more daring and trying to lean over the boat more and it seriously scares me so much!!
So while we stopped by his aunts house for a quick visit we decided to show Bridger what "over the boat" really entails....Ryan got in the canal of course, but then we put Bridger and he splashed and splashed. I have the cutest video of it, I need to try to upload that. He thought it was fun, up until he tasted the salt water and got it in his face/eyes. Then he was over it and wanted back in the boat. I'm hoping that maybe for a little while longer he is cured and won't want to go back in. At least till he's a bit older! =)

Relay For Life fundraiser
The company I work for is part of some things around the community and like to participate in events. They are very much supporters for the Relay for Life. Leading up the event, we do all sorts of things to raise money. We have had root beer floats, spaghetti lunches, desserts, taco lunch, cake judging and silent auction raiser and we still have a breakfast fundraiser and cupcake one. They are all fun and all of us in the office benefit from it as well as we are paying to help them raise money - we get wonderful food or treats.
One of the cutest ones was the cake silent auction. I didn't win any of the cakes, but they did manage to win over $400 on these cakes. Such great talent in our office and what fun to scope them all out and try to outbid each other on these cakes.
here are the cakes - or some of them. Remember - they are ALL made out of cake! (except the candy land one).

Build a Bear
Now that we have a little one of our own and he is older - I wanted to take him to Build-a-bear for his Easter stuffed animal this year. I wasn't sure how he would react or if he would even be interested. Of course Ryan thinks its retarded for a boy, so I was shocked when he agreed to go in!
We walked in and picked up a couple of different bears and asked Bridg which one he wanted and he picked, then we saw some other animals and asked him and he went with a monkey! How cute! We even got them to insert a monkey sound into his hand for Bridger press whenever he wants. I got some shorts for him too but after that Ryan was like "This is enough" haha. He wasn't digging the entire outfits, etc. I thought it was cute and Bridger enjoyed watching it all. I'm sure when he gets a little bit older he will enjoy actually going in and picking one himself. As for now - Bridger is 100% in love with his monkey. I think it was an excellent idea. Plus this kid loves stuffed animals! He has so many and I don't see that ending till he is a bit older. I think its precious and I was the same way - Blankets and stuffed animals.

Jaycob Rene
My friend at work has been pregnant as long as I've known her! ha! She was due with her little boy April 14th but he decided to make his debut on April 9th at 7:35am weighing in at 6lbs 13 oz and 20 inches long. I got to go see him that afternoon when I got off work and my how precious he is! I can't believe the amount of memories that come back to me from when I had Bridger and also the amount of happiness I felt, for them, for me and my memories. It was just a crazy feeling. I stayed awhile and got to chat with her and catch up as she has been out of work for awhile now. I held baby Jaycob the entire time and he just slept so peacefully! He seems like he is going to be just the best the little baby for them. I enjoyed getting to hold and snuggle him and hope I don't have to wait too much longer before I get to again. This time goes extremely fast and I am beyond happy for my friend and her beautiful family.
Here is Jaycob.

Follow up Doctor Appt
I went for a follow up doctors appt last week and we read my xrays. The back was indeed a pinched sciatic nerve, however that pain went away and i had this annoying pain at my tailbone recently. The doctor informed me that I have sprained that part of my back. how weird. Told me to stay off of it.....that's funny. I have an almost 2 year old. Not gonna work, but I'll try. Since then I am feeling better - tried running but still a bit too early for that.
As for my knee - we need to get an MRI done of it. Turns out I have fluid in my knee from some unknown injury. The MRI will show if it is just fluid and something we can drain or if I have done worse and tore something and will need surgery. I told the Doc I will wait to do all that. It isn't affecting me as much since I'm not running. Thought maybe we could wait till it gets completely inflamed again or near fall preferably. We will see.
I'm already falling apart. This is crazy! =)
