VThis year we took the kids up to college station to see Santas wonderland. I actually wanted to go in years past, and I really wanted to go last year but this year we made the plan and headed up. Beckett cried a lot on the way up and we had to stop alot for him. Bridger was raised traveling a lot but Beckett never has to travel too far so I think it's a bit harder for him. When we go there we let him get out and play for a little bit, but then had to go pick up Katelynn and head to the lights. The line was so bad and Beckett started freaking out, and crying so hard nothing would calm him down, then he started throwing up, Katelynn grabbed him out of his car seat so fast then I grabbed him and he just kept throwing up! About 3 times all over, then he was fine. He made himself so upset and was probably hot, he threw up! I felt awful for him. Not a good start.
We had to wait in a line to catch a bus access the way....Beckett still did ok. It was a nightmare! At least if you have little kids, people literally everywhere! Everything has a line, the hay ride which is basically the reason you go, you take this hayride to see these beautiful lights everywhere, had a line that was about an hour half and 2 hour wait! Every food item had huge line, everything was just jammed packed. It wasn't fun. There were things bridger didn't get to do because of the line, Beckett was tired and being Whiney and it was super cold!
So, while it was gorgeous with all the lights, I know now, we need to go on a week night, after Christmas or with no little kids.
At the hotel already checking things out
