We had a nice long Easter weekend. I was very happy that we had Good Friday off at work and I enjoyed spending it with my little man. Ryan left offshore thursday late afternoon for an overnight trip. Bridger and I just hung out at the house Friday and played and even got some McDonalds. Ryan got home late afternoon Friday and we took Bridg to Wendys and just hung out. Saturday was another low key family day. We hung out at the house - hubs washed my car for me and we let Bridger play in the water. We went to the mall so i could try to buy a swimsuit, however they were both impatient and we decided to leave. I will need to take time to do that without the boys, Ryan was just trying to be sweet. We went to Walmart got some last minute goodies we needed and headed home for an early rise for Easter in the morning.
Easter was a fun filled day. Bridger woke up and we all got dressed and he came out to see what the Easter bunny left him! He was excited and wanted to play with it all. My mom came over and got him a cute little play wagon which he filled immediately with his little friends and objects. Ryan made us all breakfast and then we let Bridger hunt Easter eggs. What a huge difference from last year. He knew exactly what to do once we showed him and we went and found them all. In fact he was bummed when there were no more to be found! ha. This year mommy went cheap and easy. He is still little so I felt like it was ok. I just filled the eggs with some candy we had around that house (none that Bridger could eat) and filled his little carrot eggs with his own snacks!! haha. But he loves those! =)
We headed to church a bit early and im so glad we did. It was completely packed! The entire facility! I couldn't believe it. How amazing though! We enjoyed the Easter service and Bridger enjoyed playing in the daycare. We had to wait 20 mins to get out of the parking lot. It was insane! We then went home, loaded up the car and headed to Ryans moms for Easter lunch. We put Bridger down and hung out with everyone. Once he woke up we let him play in the water outside...he had no desire for his pool. After awhile we headed out for a boat ride - Bridgers favorite. Its still a bit chilly to be on the boat - but it was fun. We got back and Ryan drained his pool and Bridger got a second wind and he played in all the water.....it was hilarious. Falling everywhere....splashing...Ryans aunt Twinkle even got down and played with him. It was so cute! He had a blast. We had one very worn out baby boy. What a great family filled Easter!
