Family Fun

We we able to head to Houston yesterday for Ryan's Uncle Steve's surprise birthday lunch at The Ragin Cajun! It was so nice to see a lot of Ryans cousins and all of their adorable children. We had the back patio all to ourselves, which was perfect for all of the kids to run around and get some of their energy out. Bridger slept the entire way there so he was well rested and in a great mood to visit with everyone! By the time we were wrapping up lunch, Bridger was overly ready for a nap and it was time to head out. I am just glad that we were able to be there and spend some time with everyone. It was very nice and we are all so blessed.

We even managed to get in a little shopping at the Galleria before our journey back to Beaumont.

Now, back to work for 3 days till I am off for 4 days to relax, spend some time with my amazing family and have some birthday fun!

Getting ahead of himself!

Since Bridger has learned to crawl, he seems to think that he knows how to walk as well! He crawls to where he wants to be, pulls up to stand and walks along whatever item he is at. But when he decides its time to go somewhere else, he just lets go! He face plants it every time! He has no fear and repeats it over and over again. Half the time he cries for just a second and the other times he laughs. I guess this is a good indication that my little one will be walking in no time! I was hoping that wouldn't come for awhile, I really enjoy and love this stage!

Since Bridger is walking along everything and trying to walk across rooms, he has endured a couple battle wounds! I picked him up from daycare yesterday, and aside from all the food that was on his face, he had two marks on his face. One right on the middle of his forehead he received from trying to walk along the crib and bumping his head, the other is bruised from bumping into the swing! Daycare says he just doesn't stop! What a boy!

Bridger also had his first teeth break thru! For awhile it looked like to me that they were starting to surface, but I'm a first time mommy, what do I really know. Then yesterday as Ryan was making Bridger laugh, I finally saw the bottom two teeth! I was so excited, I started clapping and yelling yay and Bridger thought it so fun and started laughing, screaming and throwing his arms around! It was so adorable, and he didn't even know why he was so excited!

Game Night!

Friday night we got together with our friends, The Pirons for a game night! We had pizza, drinks, games and great laughs! We definitely will continue to try to have game night at least once a month!
Bridger is never a good sleeper away from home, and friday night was a great example of just that! He would sleep for a little while, wake up and want to play! Giving us adorable smiles and "talking" like crazy. Kami finally got him back to sleep for a little while, and when he woke up again we decided it was time to head home. I can't wait to see what is on our game list for next time!

Has it really been 5 months!?

I obviously have not been committed to blogging like I said I would try to do in my first post. Maybe it's because I keep up with everyone on facebook and I'm on the site daily so its easier to stick to that, I'm not sure. So here we are now, a brand new year, welcome 2011! I have a positive mind and can't wait to see what will be in store for us this year!

We got started off on a rough patch, Bridger was sick the entire last week of December with RSV and double ear infections. I have never heard of RSV before and had no idea what it entailed. Now that I have gone thru it with a infant and experienced it first hand, I can say that I truly hope that no other mother has to go thru this. Bridger had the hardest week. Lots of crying and fussing and just being uncomfortable. No sleeping and barely any eating. To top everything off, mommy ended up getting sick too! I was determined to not let that be the way 2011 was going to go! We have since, gotten better and started to enjoy this cooler weather that has come down and frozen us with!

Bridger is now 7.5 months old and crawling! We are so excited! He started doing a couple crawls just that week and by weeks end, he was fully crawling. I can't believe how fast it really does happen! He is happier and can play for hours now instead of having to be entertained by one of us...although we still sit and play with him because he is so much fun! He is currently eating all baby foods and even eating some regular food. He has eaten eggs, biscuits, hash browns and crackers! He LOVES Ritz crackers. He still wants to put everything in his mouth and definitely tries. He loves to play peek-a-boo and patty cake. He absolutely loves his daddy and gets the biggest smile when Ryan enters the room. He is now starting to talk more, which in baby language this means lots of, dadadadadadada. It is so cute! We are so blessed to have such an amazing healthy little boy! He is our world!

Every year I get these antlers out and put them on the dogs and take tons of pictures. I, personally think its the cutest thing ever, however my dogs do not so much think so. So this year, we have Bridger!! He didn't seem to mind one bit, aside from looking very cute with them on, even cuter than the dogs.....the dogs were very happy to see that I put them on Bridger and not them! Merry Christmas pooches!

Happy Thanksgiving 2010
This year we spent it at the Gore's house in Tomball. Most of his cousins were there with the exception of Sam & Krista and Chris & Stacey (We missed you guys!) It was great being able to catch up and watch all the kids run around and play!

Love for Remington!
Remington was our very first baby (furbaby), we since have brought home Cheyenne, and now Bridger, he adjusts very well!  =) He is now 7 years old, he tolerates Bridger, but I definitely do not think he is as into Bridger as Cheyenne is. They are still so sweet together!

Cheyenne and Bridger are such great buddies!
If Bridger makes even the smallest sound, Cheyenne comes running to make sure everything is ok and what is going. If Bridger sees either her or Remington, he just laughs and smiles so big and tries to get to them! It is truly amazing to see how much your pets can care for your newest addition to the family! They are going to be great running buddies as Bridger grows up!

A&M Family



We flew to Utah for the funeral of my Grandpa Maxwell in early November. My mom, Bridger and I went, Daddy had to stay home and work. Traveling with Bridger was a chore! He is not one of those infants that can get right back on his regular schedule without a problem, it took us days, and he was miserable during those days. We stayed about 5 days and stayed with my sister, Nicole and her family. We had a great time visiting with family but I was happy to get back home and into our daily routine!

Cairo really seemed to enjoy Bridger the most. He would ask me questions about his eating, or fussing and would try his hardest to distract Bridger when he became unhappy or crying. He is a great Cousin!

Bridger loved hearing the sound of music thru his Aunties house - we found her playing the paino and of course, Bridger wanted every part of that! He was entertained for quite some time.

 The day after Grandpas get together - we decided to head up to Malad, ID, his home and have one last family get together before everyone headed back to their homes. It is not often that all of us can be together and enjoy eachother, its very unfortunate that these times seem to always occur with a death in the family.

We met our Grandma and Aunt at the Union Station Grill in Odgen, It was great to catch up and spend some time with them. It had been over 2 years since seeing my grandma and many more with my aunt. Bridger slept thru lunch and we had to wake him up at the end so they could get their lovin' in!

We were visiting the Gore's and Bridger snuck in a small afternoon nap outside in the cabana!

We  went to the pumpkin patch with the Gore's and I had to wake Bridger up for all the excitement! There were hay rides, train rides, games and lots of pumpkins! We did go on a train ride thru the Christmas Tree farm and Bridger loved it! I'm sure next year will be much more exciting for him.

We drove to Galveston to pick up my sister and her husband Brendan fresh off their cruise to the Bahamas. We stop in Kemah and walked around the boardwalk, fed sting rays, shopped and ate pizza! Bridger was so worn out and refused to sleep so Uncle Brendan took him for a walk and this is how he returned! One tired baby!

On our way to feed the sting rays we walked thru a little exhibit of animals. They had a very larg elephant was trumpeting and moved when you got close! He didn't act scared, just more suprised and probably wondering what in the world is that!?!
