Christmas 2011

Christmas was so much fun this year!! Bridger is older and understood slightly more or really it was just that he paid more attention this year. Last year he slept thru the entire event!! He was only 7 months old, who could blame the sweet boy.

This year we got him up and ready to go. I took video of him coming into the living room and he was so adorable!! He just smiled and ran right to his toys! He first ran to the drum set that santa left him. He LOVES drums. He started playing the Home Depot tool bench and was pretty much attached to it the entire time.

My mom came over and we all enjoyed opening presents and listening the Christmas music, taking our sweet time.

Among some of Bridgers amazing gifts that he received from family, one of them was this darling "Time Out" bench from his Grandma. Right now he sits in it very proud and loves it. However, I don't think he will be so excited when he learns what the bench really means! ha! At least he loves it!

Boxes can also be so much fun!

Bridger also got another awesome toy!! He received this fun electric 4 wheeler! He was SO hilarious while Ryan helped him open it! He kept moving his hands up and down quickly and sort of jumping in place, like hurry up dad! He jumped on it and saw the button and off he went. It was so funny. He gets the jist of how to work it, but can't hold down the button very long nor does he know how to steer yet. Its so cute to watch him on it though, maybe a helmet is needed? =)

After we were all finished opening presents, (which I didn't hardly get any pictures, bummer) Ryan made us all breakfast and it was delish! I hurried and got ready and we headed off to Ryan's moms. Bridger was SO worn out from the mornings events, and didn't get a nap...he fell asleep on the way.
Of course once we got there he woke up and played with his cousins. We all hung out and Ryan's mom made a big Christmas feast. We exchanged gifts and put Bridger down for a nice long nap. We also got in some pictures....

Bridger was SOO tired, poor boy!

Bridger's 4wheeler was a hit with all the kids......

Christmas Eve

I am so happy that we are now here in Corpus near our families. It is definitely different not having to travel and spend 10 hours on the road.

Christmas eve we woke up and ran a couple of last minute errands and cleaned up house. We put Bridger down for a nap and once he got up we ate lunch really quick and headed off to church. I loved how they had so many different service times. It was an ugly nasty day, cold and rainy, but we made the best of it! Ryan's moms and his brother and his family all met us at church. Bridger did great when we dropped him off at the church daycare and had a great time!
The service was great and we enjoyed it. It was a lot of dancing and a shorter sermon this time, but was all about what Christmas is about anyway, Jesus.

After church we had some down time and then went to visit everyone! We hit up a couple spots and also stopped by our good friends, the Kaylors. This year it was fun to watch the kids play as Hayden is now almost 3 and Bridger is 19 months. Also, a little girl that is in Bridger's daycare class was there! So all 3 of them had a great time together and played pretty well. Hayden is such a sweet little boy and did great with the "younger" kids. I just know they will be great running buddies when they get older, just like their daddies were/are.

After Bridger started getting tired and throwing more fits we decided it was time to head out! We went to his moms house and hung out and visited with the family. Bridger had fun playing with his cousins and we probably stayed too long! Bridger was worn out and overly ready for bed!!

Bridger had a great time trying to play with Uncle Corey's new ice chest!

Trying to play with Juliana....and the remote control!!

Bridger's cousin, Sydney.

Once we got home and got Bridger settled into bed, Ryan went to bed and my mom and I got the presents out and put out under the tree!!
Look Santa Clause came!
(Ignore my tree, all my ornaments had to be moved up because of our sweet Bridger)

Eve before Christmas Eve

We got together with my step dad Friday night to do our gift exchange. This year he was able to come over here and witness Bridger in his own environment. Bridger is always SO much better at home than when we take him to other peoples houses. =)

We opened presents, listened to Christmas music and just hung out playing with Bridger. I think Bridger may have liked all the attention. =) This little boy never slows down.
Bridger got 3 puzzles and LOVED them, the way he reacted to opening these few gifts got me excited for Christmas morning!!!

We tried to take some family pictures....

Christmas Outfits

Just like Halloween, I had started my collection of Christmas shirts for Bridger that he wore in December....for some reason, I only got pictures of 2 of them! So not like me at all!

Regardless, he is still adorable in them. They are from my FAVORITE store, Janie and Jack and I sure wish we had one here in Corpus. They have the cutest kids clothes.  We were in the spirit the entire month! =)
