Bottles and formula

Finally got this boy to take bottles and of course the only ones he likes are the Dr Browns bottles. Ugh. There are literally 5 pieces to wash per bottle! I was trying to hard to get him to like other bottles. (We used Dr Browns with Bridger because he had colic) with not much success with other bottles we finally settled and let it be. Maybe as he grows I can hopefully change him.
Once we figured out what kind of bottle he liked, we had to figure out what forumla he liked. We went thru maybe 3 or 4 before finding out that he like the powder enfamil Infant formula. No premade, the liquid is too thick for him. We also have to add a little more extra water with the powder formula. Make it a little bit more like the consistency of my breastmilk.
We are working in doing bottles during the day and nursing at night and early morning. Sometimes it's hard because he gets tired and just wants to nurse to go to sleep. I've got to break him of that. It's all a slow learning process but I am so thrilled that he is trying. I've got to be off nursing by August.
I will he so sad. My last baby. Nursing is easy. It's convenient. It's bonding time. It's special. With bridger I never produced enough, with Beckett I've had to problem, then to have to stop....makes me sad. I shouldn't be. I don't know why we booked this trip so close after his birth. I really was thinking.
It is what it is and we are working at it! He even likes to try to hold his own bottle!!! He's such a good little boy!

Boat rides

Everyone knows that we live in the boat in the spring and summer. We are obsessed and absolutely love the boat! Bridger is used to it, he's the same. It's just us.
Well this year we have beck. We can't go like we used to. For all of us, we get bummed. Ryan takes b, sometimes. But we are used to going all day long! So this year we haven't seen much of the boat. And this year we have a new boat! But it's ok, it's all for beck and we can wait!

But, beck is getting bigger and we wanted to break him in. No we can't go far, no we can't go long. But we wanted to see how our baby did! To each their own. Everyone has their opinions on it, but it's our choice, for our family- and they even make life jackets small enough! ;)

Beckett did awesome on our little boat ride. We cried till we got on top and went faster. Then he fell asleep. He didn't wake back up till we were almost home again. I had sunscreen on him, covered his ears, and he was so comfy- he got a nice little nap out of it! Good job beck! Bridger was sad we couldn't stop and play in the sand, but beck isn't old enough for that yet! Lol we just were giving the boat ride a test with him. He is like his daddy now- going early!

Before we left I tried his hat on, he's so cute! But it wouldn't flown off

Summer pool

Bridger always wants to go outside and play on his big slide (that is so darn heavy and hard for me to pick up or move) or play on his slip n slide, but he really wanted a pool to play in with his goggles and dive sticks. I bought him a baby one but I guess Ryan didn't like that one. Lol

He other morning when we got up, we got up to him setting a pool up outside! It isn't huge, but big enough for bridger. That was the key- bridger needed to touch because he hasn't done swim lessons yet....he "can't" swin. This pool will help him some and we need to put him in a class! Bridger was so excited! Both Ryan and I got in with him at different times, and he was so excited he wouldn't stop talking. Hahaha. But these goggles, like I can't take this kid serious! I tried but couldn't stop laughing.

Even Beckett tried the pool in his new floaty!! He only lasted 5 mins! But he didn't cry!

3month pictures

Here are Becketts 3month pictures we had done. These are just screen shot so quality may not look great. Beckett was not wanting to corporate at all! It was a mess! I'm shocked we actually got some shots tho! I'm happy because it is who he is and it's memories. Love my little Beckett.

Cheyenne

We got Cheyenne because Ryan saw an English Mastiff and fell in love. We found her on the local website of Beaumont that sells everything! The woman was pregnant and wanted the puppies gone. She was already around 4 months when we got her. I chose her because she just sat there. I thought she would make a good addition to our family as Remington was already super lazy.
Remington took awhile to take to her, but he did. And they were best friends. For the most part she was a great dog! Few issues here or there. Spoiled rotten. Both were entirely too spoiled till I had Bridger. That's when they became outdoor dogs and it all changed for them. I felt bad but I had a baby that I had to tend to and take care of now and they were so huge and shed like crazy.
Fast forward 4.5 years, we bring Beckett home. We had to put Remington down Because he was in such bad shape and had possible cancer- this way May 5th. Ever since then Cheyenne became an indoor dog again because I felt awful she was alone. She's never ever been alone. She has always had Remi and loved him! Well since becoming an indoor dog, she is always in the way, slobbering everywhere, shedding everywhere, per dander everywhere, bridger tortures her and I'm always yelling at him, she doesn't really listen, she sneaks on the beds, she refuses to go outside. She's a mess! And making me even more crazy. We were gone one night and I left her out back, a storm came threw and she tore up ALL out doors!!!! She's like a completely different dog. Ever since then we can't leave her out. She tears up stuff, she won't go out, it's a battle. That I don't wanna fight.
So, we gave her to some friends of ours. I felt bad, but they have other dogs, and I think that's what she needs. She's lonely. She misses Remington. I hope she's happy there and I think she will be. I feel bad and it's sad that both our babies are now gone. But for me, I needed that one less extra "work" that she created. Before long I'll have a crawler....it wasn't gonna work. I loved her and she was a great dog. Best part- we will still see her!!!

On her way to her new home.

4months old

This sweet little one turned 4 months old yesterday! I can't believe how fast time is flying. I stay home with him and I feel like it's still going to fast.
He is still the sweetest little boy. Little grouchy the last couple of days but I feel like he is teething more and can't get comfy.
He is :
Size 2 diapers
Size 3-6 or 6 month clothing depending on brand
Size 1 shoe
Sleeps usually 830-630, eats, back down till 1030
Not rolling from back to tummy yet
Grabs everything you put near
Loves his Sophie giraffe
Fights his afternoons naps
Loves to laugh at his brother
Finally takes a bottle
Takes 2 formula bottles a day
Has a flat spot on the back side of this head
Still sleeps in the bassinet
Not sure on weight and height till we go to doctor
Still wants mama over anyone else
He will stare at you then just smile, even if you aren't looking at him.
He loves to be held
Hates tummy time
Screams bloody murder when he's not getting what he wants- we do a lot of cry it out

We had breakfast with daddy!! Boys at IHOP

Someone is teething. Not sure if this picture shows enough, but in person- very noticeable swollen gums.
