Lately

This little guy wants to be like daddy! He wants to go to work so he can buy toys and fishing poles!

This last picture was Bridg finally passed out after no nap- and picking out his own toys at Toys-R-Us....he tried to hard to stay awake and play with them. Sweet boy.

Things are so busy......same ole same ole.
For Bridger- he is growing so fast. I can't believe in 4 months he will be 4! I never pictured this age....I thought I would also have another one already. Bridg sure did us in. Haha. He is such a handful or has been I couldn't imagine adding another little one to the mix. 3's are much, much harder than 2's for sure! I am really excited to get to 4! Although I'm not wishing this time away, but I am excited. 3's wore us out! Haha.
We do want another baby and it seems more real now- now that Bridg is more independent and can do so much more. Guess we will see. It's such a big decision.

Bridger starts pre-school in a week! We have made a decision that we hope is the best. There are a lot of reasons why we chose now over pre-k in the fall like we had originally decided. I am happy with how things have panned out. We were on a waiting list for another school, then this one opened and it just all fell Into place. It is literally right down the street.  My mom will keep Bridger for a week until the school opens. She is going to help get him into shape and tame the back talk. He has a mouth on him and talks back. But without the same structure every day- that's bound to happen. So I'm hoping my mom can help drastically and this school will. Fingers crossed!

I am super busy at work. Helps the days fly by. But it is so so crazy busy. Ryan has been busy too, and staying busy with boat work. The picture of B up above is from when Ryan took him to the cabin for the day. Bridg had so much fun!! They had a great daddy son day. Bridger hooked and caught his very own drum!

Ryan is still working hard on remodeling the cabin. I can't wait for it to be finished.

Also- I am planning a lingerie shower for a friend with a couple other friends. It is so fun and so exciting. I love love these kinds of things. I enjoy doing this so much and I have already ordered so much and bought things to craft. I hope that she loves it and is totally surprised. We have a lot going on the next couple months (or so it feels). But this shower has my concentration now. Wahoo!

We are busy trying to get the upstairs room organized for Bridgers toys, like another play room. B and I put together his train table this past weekend that grandma bought him for Christmas. He was so excited! And loves it.

Girls Dinner Night

Last weekend Ryan ran down to the cabin with his brother and cousin. He wanted to do a last hunt but with him having the flu the week before he was so winded and there was no way he could walk those islands. He stayed back and did some more updates to the cabin, I can't wait till it is completely finished.

While daddy was away, Bridger and I cleaned like crazy and made the house spotless, well in most areas. He was such a good little boy for me. My mom came to watch him Saturday night so I could go have a nice dinner with my girlfriends. We went to the new Katz 21, I say new, it's been there for a little while, I just haven't got to go yet. It was super nice inside and the good was delish. Our girl dinners always last a really long time, we all have a lot to say! Lol! 4 hours later I was home and in bed! Had a great time with the girls and had just enough wine that I was out! slept so great and no hangover! Best way to do it.

Daddy came home pretty early the next day and we ran some errands with him. Bridger always misses his daddy so much he is always so over joyed when he makes it home. Ryan is usually not left alone! Haha. It was a nice quiet weekend! Just what I seem to like lately.

Still head strong

Today I took Bridger to the doctor for his 3 year well check (oops forgot in May) and his flu shot.

We waited in the waiting room not long at all. But in the short amount of time he managed to embarrass me. He was being so naughty! Everyone was starting. I couldn't take him in hall because I wouldn't be able to hear them call our name over the speaker. It was almost that bad that I didn't care...but then he found a toy! Thank goodness!

We got called back and the nurse started doing her thing. So according to all the other little boys born on the same day as Bridger- he is in the 60 percentile for weight and height! He is pretty tall but seems so skinny!

As the nurse kept asking me the well check questions, B wouldn't sit still or stop interrupting us! He kept turning off the light......ugh. I didn't even know what to do with him. I couldn't spank him, or leave. When the doc finally came in and checked B out- he was at the height of his naughtiness. The doctor actually got onto him several times. He said he is too young to test for ADHD, but sounded like he thought he was. He said it seems like we have lost parental control. We need to  figure out something that means a lot to him and use that to our advantage. (We've got nothing on that)
He also said he needs structure and consistency. Which I think is a huge deal. He isn't with us for 10 hours a day. A lot can be different in those 10 hours. Especially with other children around. He definitely isn't getting consistency. He gave us some ideas to use for nap time since Bridger is refusing naps.
The doctor could tell I was completely at witts end with this. I'm exhausted. By the end of it,the doc recommended me a book and a behavioral physiologist. And he wants to know if it gets worse. Geez. It really is a big deal and I'm not going crazy. We really do have a wild crazy rebellious toddler.

The nurse came and gave Bridger his shot and he didn't even cry! He was more upset that it hurt becuse he wasn't expecting that. Then as we were walking out he was limping. Haha. funny little boy.

I guess we need to get Bridger into some sport. Something to help with all the energy. See how that goes then make some other decisions. We have a lot going on with changes for him......hopefully the stress level doesn't get to crazy.
