Birthday Party!

Our good Friends, The Hudson's little boy, Camden turned 2 this Sunday! I absolutely LOVE little kids birthday parties and crafting things for them. It is so fun! I, of course jumped on board when it came to helping my friend Nicole out with this birthday party. Now that pinterest is alive and everywhere....ideas are seriously endless and we can go a bit crazy! Once you get all these cute ideas, you of course have to do them ALL! We started crafting early October and I found some things I liked, and with her ok and liking of them, got started. I get in my zone and I don't care if something seems time consuming....if it is going to have a cute appeal to it, or make the party. I'm all over it. The more - the better! We got together a couple nights this past week to finish things up. Everything turned out extremely cute! She did an amazing job!

Bridger was excited to see the animals, and it took him awhile to warm up to them. He would just poke them in an area...usually by their butts, haha and laugh. He finally warmed up. Once his little friend Kyler got there and got in the little petting zoo cage....Bridger turned around and shoved him so hard. I do not understand why him and Kyler fight the way they do. I took Bridger immediately inside and disciplined him. Afterwards he went outside with his daddy.....before I knew it - they were fighting again. Its just so much easier to not let these 2 be around each other. Chaos!

There were SO many people there, she had an amazing turn out. It was a good time and I think that Bridger really enjoyed himself.

Only boys go fishing......

Bridger told me the other day after a trip to Academy, that only boys go fishing, not gurls....and I couldn't go. Really Bridg? That isn't very nice! Girls love to go fishing. He sounded so in fact, it was so cute. He just wants to go fishing with his daddy. He really does leave me out like chop liver when his daddy is around. It is super sweet he has that closeness with him, I love it. But man he is a stinker to me.

My mom and her boyfriend bought him a little Zepco fishing rod awhile back and he played with it so much, casting it, etc....he broke the line off. We just put it up since then. I mean this kid could seriously cast it!

Since the weather has been super nice, and Bridger is getting a little older we told him we would take him fishing. He has only been a couple of times. He isn't pro...yet..... =)

We went out to where our friends dock their boat in Port A and fished near it off the dock. We figured little piggy perch would be the best introduction to B. Not sure what he would do, heck - we were wondering if the fishing rod when end up in the water! We really had no clue!

We did great! I Wish I would've gotten it on video! He was SO super excited when he caught his first "fish". He was laughing and jumping up and down and wanted to grab it. He has watched his daddy fish and the little pop you give the rod was NOT what B was doing - he was yanking it up so fast and hard every couple seconds. It was hilarious. When I finally got him to hold it still, he started catching the perch. He missed alot but he has so much fun doing it. He even wanted to bait his own hook! Thatta boy! He had a great time but I was a nervous mama, he literally leans over so far I swear he is going to fall in!I can't wait to take him again!

A little bit of Bridger

My little boy is growing up so fast!! He actually carries on great conversations now! its adorable because he says such cute stuff, but its also sad because he is getting so big. He is no longer a baby. He still keeps us on our toes..... and makes us laugh every single day. He still visits time out very often. And is refusing to take naps. He literally listens to everything. Remembers it, then repeats it. then doesnt forget it. Super smart boy. We decided to pass on tball this fall because temper wise we didn't think he was ready for that. Now he is always asking us if he can play baseball (his friend in daycare plays). Maybe it is time for us to start looking into something for him. I can't believe these days are here. The days of practice and games on the weekend.....This is all going to fast! haha. I still tell him he is my baby, and I always will.
