Katelynn is 18!

I can't believe that Ryan's baby sister is now officially 18 years old! The time goes by so fast! She was only 8 when Ryan and I started dating!! Wow, how times flies.

She was always a fun kid. After we moved in when their dad passed away- we got to spend every night with her. Their mom had to work "night shift" and we were In charge of getting Katelynn everyday from school and getting her homework done, making dinner and whatever else was going on at the time. We had softball practice, games, where Ryan was the assistant coach and I was the "dug out mom". We were there to help with whatever we could as this was a huge transition for all of them. Katelynn and I still look back and laugh at some of those times. We really did have fun and we tried to make it a good time for her. Her and I would play UNO or Phase 10 almost every night and she would beg to stay up just a little bit later. We would make hamburgers or mac and cheese and stick hot dogs in it...her thing she made me try. She would get sad if we were going to go out with our friends for the night. She always wanted to go with us. We felt bad.

We moved away when she was 10ish, and we stayed gone for almost 6 years. We still came down alot and we still had time together. Her and I would pick part of the weekend out and go shopping together. We loved it. It was a ritual. She was always mature for her age and we enjoyed spending time with her.

We got to finally move back to Corpus about a year 1/2 ago and she was such a good help! She came and watched Bridg for us so we could go out and have a date night or go out with some friends (We never had that in Beaumont). She still comes and watches B every now and then. But she is getting older - having her own fun so know that is much more important to a 18 year old! ha!

She is an excellent kid...I mean adult and I am so proud of the person that she has grown into. She has a good head on her shoulder and knows right from wrong and really tried to display those traits. She has tons of friends and a boyfriend who adores her. I know she will do great things and I can't wait to see how her college life plays out for her. She is going to have a blast!

On her 18th birthday we went to dinner at Giramaldi's. Bridger was shy with all the girls at first, but warmed up and was sitting on their laps by the end of the night. Little ham.

Kyler turns TWO

A couple weekends ago we went to Kylers 2nd birthday party! Malori did such a great job and had a Mickey Mouse themed party at the same place where she had it last year. However, it was a whole lot less people. It was perfect. They had a bounce house and there was also a playground. The boys had so much fun playing outside and us girls hung out inside talking.

Kyler opened his presents and blew out his candles to his cake and my sweet Bridger bear was there along side with him, helping him. They were adorable and having such a great time! We were there a couple of hours and it went good! Especially bc my sweet boy didnt have a nap that day! I love little birthday parties and I love when we get our kids together. They are all growing up entirely too fast. I will miss these days one day.

I am still taking AdvoCare products and loving them. Time is coming to do another 24 day challenge and I probably need to get on to ordering it. I am loving their products  along with working out to the Insanity dvds. I think it has been a good change and I love sharing with everyone! Amazing products!

Lake Charles for My Birthday! (And friends Ashleys)

This year for my Birthday we invited all of our friends to go to Lake Charles Louisiana for a little gambling. We used to hope over for quick trips when we lived in Beaumont since it was so close. We never stayed too long as we were able to head back home!! We got everything planned and Ryan's cousins husband was awesome and able to book all of our rooms at the casino for great rates! We all got lucky! We headed up Friday early morning. We were able to stop in Beaumont and I visited with some of my old gal pals I used to work with. I was so excited to see  them and talk to them. I hadn't seen them since I moved to Corpus. I had an amazing time visiting with them. Wish I had longer with them.

We got to Lake Charles early evening and started gambling. We had a good weekend and I had an absolute blast!! Ryan's cousins husband also got us a limo Saturday night to take us to dinner, it was so fun! Over all we had fun! I was wore out after the trip and got sick that Monday morning. It was a long recovery. We don't do weekends without Bridger, really ever. So it was nice. Oh, and we didn't win any money!boo!

Cousins

Bridger loved having his cousin here with him to play with. Although Sheaden might not of loved it as much, Bridger sure did! My sister caught a couple cute pictures. I have been horrible about taking pictures lately. Bridger loved wrestling with Sheaden.

Cole Park

While my sister was here we were blessed with beautiful weather. We took the boys to Cole Park one day so they could play and have some fun. We have never taken Bridger before because it is such a big play area and we were always worried about chasing him around. He is older now and he did such a good job. He kept just sliding down the slides and chasing his cousin Sheaden around. The boys had a great time!
