Last week when Ryan picked up Bridger one evening the guy at the daycare had a talk with him about Bridger being aggressive and having a couple bad days. He did tell Ryan that they were "kicking" him out, and they were willing to work with us but I needed to talk to the director lady in the morning.
I went in the next morning, completely blind sided!! She called me in her office and said those dreaded words...."We have to ask him to leave"....my heart sank! Really!?! Is it that bad? I thought he was doing good? What is so bad? Why can't we work together? Is he really that kid? It took everything I had to not just start bawling right then and there! She proceeded to talk to me and explain why Bridger was being asked to leave. She even said that she didn't have any "advice" for me at this time. I really felt defeated...again. She was kind enough to keep him that day - but Friday I was on my own.
As soon as I left there I just started crying...I couldn't help myself. I was so frusterated and just couldn't understand why it was so hard for Bridger or why nobody wants to help us and work with us. My baby is in someone elses hands for 10 hours a day...I really need someone willing to put for the the effort to help with what we can't in those 10 hours....its hard. I know he is a hard boy - head strong, stubborn beyond words, and short tempered....but he has a passion to learn knew things and determination to figure it all out. That has got to mean something in the discipline area?!?!
I stayed home with him Friday and Ryan actually did some calling and after a few fall thrus we found a lady that was willing to watch him in her home. She lives across the street from his cousin and we went and visited and felt like this was something we could try right now.
She is suppose to have 6 kids total - I'm not sure if that is including her own, but 6 total. Makes me kind of nervous. I would love a smaller group. Monday it was just him - he did great. Tuesday it was him and a 10 week old....great again. However today was another little girl around his age and I even picked him up early and he had just bit her! ugh! really? So when all 6 are going to be there - I'm really really nervous how that is going to turn out. All we can do is try. She said she is willing to work with him and try to figure out when he wants to bite, why he is biting, what is setting him off, what is the situation going on.....all these important things. I hope she can help pin point it...and maybe together we can think of a solution.
I know my baby is hard to handle but I never thought it would be this difficult just to find care for him. He really is the biggest sweetheart and I just hope that we can find a perfect fit and someone to see that side of him too.
Look how sweet this little baby boy is!! How can you not love him!!

Happy 1st Birthday Kyler!!!
Today we went to celebrate our friends little boys 1st birthday!! I can't believe that he is already a year! Time sure does fly!
He was tired - so was Bridger. Kyler did great for being tired - he enjoyed his smash cake and opened up all of his presents!!! He got so many great items!! One special blessed little boy! It was fun seeing him enjoy his first birthday party - but it was hard with bridger. He didn't do as hot. He wanted to get into everything and go outside and play on the playground - nevermind that it was rainy and cold. This little boy doesn't care. We stayed the majority of the time, and Bridger stayed with Daddy. Guess he is back to his daddy days.....I tried to play with him and hold him, but he wanted nothing to do with me....chop liver again. ha.

Lovin my boy......
Bridger has been a little bit more crankier lately - I'm not sure if he is feeling 100%. A couple of days he has had fever - and excess bowl movements.....not sure what is going on - but it hasn't been consistant enough to take him in.....its weird.
However - beside him being a stinker pot every and then he has been so fun! The past couple of days his talking has really gone off! It is so hilarious to hear him repeat words! He can't really say half of them - but its cute to hear him try. He definitely can't say his "L's". I love sounds SO adorable. I love that he is trying to really communicate with us now and tell us what he wants, or ask us things....we get the most of what he is saying.

Fryin Fish
After all that fish they caught the other day going offshore, we decided to have a fish fry! We love being able to have our friends over and have get togethers and spending time with everyone. I love that we can have our kids play and start to become the best of buds. I'm glad we are here in Corpus now so we can do these things.......
Everyone came over and we cooked up some great fish and sides and enjoyed our night at home. Bridger went to bed early as he couldn't hang as long. He was extremely tired and being super bad. He went to bed and Landon stayed up to play some and miss Kendal was so good! She was such a sport and hung out for so long without even a peep!

Fishing Trip
This past weekend the boys took a day off to do some offshore fishing. Since Pat got his new boat he especially was dying to take it out and have some fun. They took left super early in the morning and when they got back Bridger and I went over to see what they caught!
They got 5 Wahoo and 6 Snappers. I would say that was a good successful trip! I personally think its still WAY too cold to go out, but for these boys its no biggie. Bridger is still in the phase where he likes to see the fish, or animals, but up close he gets scared. He wanted nothing to do with the fish.
While we were over there looking at the fish and the boys were cleaning them - we were so lucky to see sweet baby Kendal!! She is such a doll and SUCH a good baby! My boy was never ever as calm as she is. I adore it so much. She is so precious and a cutie!! She only made one peep when she was hungry and her daddy got right on it and she sat and drank her bottle still watching everything going on!
Bridger has been kind of in a funk lately and this night was no different. Every single time I would get Kendal he would be at my side crying and wanting on my lap....hello - that never happens!!! He has been a momma's boy lately and of course I love - but I am shocked. He definitely doesn't ever care when I hold other babies, but this night was a rare occasion. I love my sweet boy - and I did get some lovin' in on Kendal! =)

We took it for a ride the night that they got it! It was nice!! I think the boys of course love it....I meant the little boys, but I'm sure the big boys do too!! haha!
